Thanksgiving

O beautiful Earth, with abundance of God’s blessing

Bountifully giving to our Lord our thanks and fond caressing

For thy gift of love, for thy gift of will,

For thy healing of all human ill,

Dear Lord we thank thee.

For hope and faith in the eternal right

Thou lifted from darkness to the light

A blinded humanity.

As this day we partake of thy gifts

We pray our soul thou will uplift

To thee on high, that we may see

And humbly thus give thanks to thee.
